Two topics: Fake positive? Treatment recommended?

Hi, anyone has knowledge about ``fake positive`` results?

That is what came back, twice in 5 months, infectologist still suggested to take 14-21 days antibiotics while we are waiting for further test results (GP agreed not to until we do have the results).

Read after it and to me it looks like fake positive means it is probably not lyme, but THERE IS something else? Anyone had fake positive and turned out to have lyme in the end? Thank you.

Also, was browsing the net for treatment and all I could really find was that 3 weeks antibiotics is a joke and leaves patients sick, but have not found another real suggestion anywhere. Should I just go with this starter kit for now?

I am sorry, have just had my share of bad experiences with doctors the past few months, starting a bit panic about this other uncertainty again.

Thank you ever so much xXxXXxxxX

What is the test? And what is a starter kit? You can have a "positive" result that is not active disease only an indication that have been exposed or may have had it in the past. You are correct though that three weeks of some of the antibiotics the lyme Quacks sell can make you very sick and make it very hard to recover from the "cure" Sounds like you have a wise GP.....
