What Are Your Favorite Words of Wisdom?

hey "mr. scientist/philosopher" .. good job!!! now put on you "mr. non material world" hat and diatribe about that... GO 4 IT...) CAN'T WAIT...)

They didn't find a brain??? Well I for one imagine they found one of the purest and kindest hearts in the world!!!

Hi dkel,

You know this made me think of how amazing the brain is. with all the neurons firing and synapses running by each other, how can we even comprehend what that looks like or even means. To me the manifestation is action. Such that all the functions of the brain could be chalked up to pure potential, and from that potential we can and do create our reality. It is one thing for us to simply be aware of all the power of the brain and yet another to try and control it. concept to free will except control exerts more intent of success. Which do you think we enact more when fulfilling our destiny, free will or control over what we perceive?

a W.O.W. be at peace with your creator...)

I like that LostGirl, reminds us that we can't try to be in control of every last thing! The saying also reminds me that we have to take things one at a time- planning too far ahead might yield disappointment. Thank you for sharing these words!

Great point Richard. We should also be at peace with ourselves!

agree about things out our control... which is most things in life...even ourselves...( 1 day at a time is good 2....thanks...)

Hey dkel,

Joe has never looked or sounded better! My mom and I have watched 'The History of the Eagles' several times and were astonished at how well he is these days!

Rocky Mountain Way has always been my favorite!

DEEP, David!

So tell me Richard, are YOU Mr Tick or is that dkel? I had a jolly laugh over that!

lol dkel, I think you are deep all the time.

You play guitar dkel?!! I played guitar, acoustic, before I got sick. Now with my left arm severely compromised I cannot play anymore. I am so impressed and thrilled we have another thing in common!

You look like a seasoned guitar god!

How many times have you done "I wanna rock and roll all night, and party everyday"?

No doubt your air guitar skills are tough to beat! I love the songs you mention...lightning crashes used to be my anthem when I was younger. And the goo goo dolls always make me smile. Maybe one of these days we'll be able to play again. Heck, while we are fantasizing maybe one of us could play on the dream vacation we are hoping for (equal chance of either happening) :-)
